Richmond House is a Social Enterprise, a not-for-profit organisation runs for the benefit of the community. Richmond House aims to enable children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability to access a range of Short Breaks and Care Support to provide Daycare and Overnight Break at their own homes between the age of 0 and 25 years and vulnerable adults.

Effective partnership working with health professionals and parents ensure a consistent approach when caring for the children and young people. Richmond House wants to reach those who socially disadvantaged and those who do not find it easy to ask for help.
Team
Richmond House Teams committed, skilled and acknowledgeable in their field. The staff are positive and highly motivated. Richmond House ‘s team use Discrete Video Modeling method to include verbal, social, emotional, fine motors, special lighting, unique sound mixing, targeted scripts alongside PECS and other ways of communication to improve their speaking ability.

Support children and young people and vulnerable adults and their siblings with a range of complex needs and behaviours including: Cerebral Palsy, Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Condition, Global Developmental Delay, Low Muscle Tone, Complex Epilepsy, Asperger Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, Depression, Dysthymia, ADHD, and other learning, physical, mental disabilities and Sensory Impairments in Yorkshire and Humberside regions.
