Richmond House CIC and Richmond House Social Care Residential Ltd provide a range of tailored services, including Alternative Provision, educational settings, Short Breaks, Daycare and Overnight Care for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Our services are designed to meet the individual needs of children and young people aged 7–17 years, delivered either within the individual’s own home or at our dedicated Richmond House facilities.

We also provide community-based support for young adults aged 18–25, helping individuals develop independence, confidence, life skills and meaningful participation within their local communities.

Partnerships

Effective partnership working with health professionals and parents ensure a consistent approach when caring for the children and young people. Richmond House wants to reach those who socially disadvantaged and those who do not find it easy to ask for help.

Team

Richmond House Teams committed, skilled and acknowledged in their field. The staff are positive and highly motivated. Richmond House’s team uses the Discrete Video Modelling method to include verbal, social, emotional, fine motor, special lighting, unique sound mixing, and targeted scripts alongside PECS and other ways of communication to improve their speaking ability.

Family Support

Finding the right childcare can be a real struggle for parents, but for those who have children with disabilities or with special needs. The TASK can be HUGE and even more difficult.
